Diplo showcases his buff body as he ditches his shirt during special Run Club workout at Barry's

Diplo gave his fans a thrill when he turned up for the Barry’s Workout Class for his Run Club on Friday in Santa Monica.

The DJ, 45, who recently referred to ex Katy Perry, 39, as a 'flexible' pop star, showcased his own buff body during the surprise workout. 

The hitmaker began the routine wearing a long sleeve black shirt and shorts with neon yellow sneakers.

The cross-fit workout included lifting weights and doing squats.

He shared his daily routine with Men's Health in September 2023. 

The exercise devotee's circuit includes; dumbbell rows, and using the weights for pullovers and crunches.

After the weights, it was time for cardio on the treadmill. 

He took off the shirt before his indoor run, displaying his toned abs and multiple tattoos. 

The Grammy winner's neatly styled blonde hair was soon drenched with sweat as he participated in the high intensity workout.

A HIIT or High Intensity Interval Workout consists of alternating shorts bursts of intense exercise with brief recovering periods, according to UC Davis Health. 

Diplo's appearance marked the completion of his collaboration with the gym for a series of Diplo's Run Club themed classes.

He and his run club will host two 5k races and accompany music festivals in September in San Francisco and Seattle. 

The music producer enjoyed one of Barry's smoothies.

'Even Diplo knows it's not a Barry's class without a Fuel Bar shake,' the gym wrote on a photo in its own Instagram Stories, adding, the music man had chose a 'PB' flavored drink.

After the class, the fitness enthusiast jetted off to Las Vegas where he rocked the night away at the XS Nightclub. 

He shared video of the wild evening in his Instagram Stories.

Diplo has a busy tour schedule throughout the summer, crisscrossing North America and Europe.  

The Where Are You Now artist recently gave a tour of his new private jungle retreat in Jamaica to Architectural Digest. 

The compound includes a recording studio and the DJ has hopes of creating a lot more music there. 

'I originally thought it would be a good place to ride out the apocalypse and learn to farm, but it turns out this place is going to become a home .. a studio .. a creative refuge for many artists,' he wrote on social media.
